Ye Olde Pasta Party
Runners can carb-load for the Marine Corps Historic Half at Ye Olde Pasta Party in the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center Ballroom beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16. The pasta dinner features a selection of pasta and sauces, while runners enjoy live entertainment, a motivational speaker, prizes and more!

Tickets for Ye Olde Pasta Party are $32. They will be available for purchase beginning at noon eastern on January 7 as part of the MCHH registration process.
Entertainment
Information regarding the 2009 event will be posted soon. The 2008 featured entertainment included Kathrine Switzer, best known for breaking the gender barrier in running when she was the first woman to pin on a bib number and officially run the Boston Marathon, in 1967.
Switzer was joined by Roger Robinson, an internationally acclaimed as a writer on running, Senior Writer for Running Times magazine, and winner of the George Sheehan Award for running journalism in America.
