Semper Fred 5K
Join Miles and Molly, the MCM Mascots, as well as Marines and the Fredericksburg community for the Semper Fred 5K, presented by The Free Lance Star. The 3.1 mile run/walk is open to families and fitness enthusiasts of all ages, however, strollers are prohibited.
Registration
Registration for the 2010 Semper Fred 5K is now open. The registration fee includes race materials, official event shirt, B-tag, hospitality and more.
Course
Beginning just minutes after the Marine Corps Historic Half on Sunday, May 16, 2010, participants will enjoy the 3.1 mile course and are invited to take in the amusement and excitement of race day activities, including the Healthy Lifestyle Expo.

Timing System
New timing technology will be introduced at the 2010 Marine Corps Historic Half. The new B-Tag system replaces the previously used peel and loop timing tag. Now, runners will find their timing device embedded in the reverse side of the official bib. No action is required of a runner beyond wearing the assigned bib. The B-Tags will record a runner's official time, beginning when the runner crosses the start line and concluding at the finish. Runners will receive bibs at the Healthy Lifestyle Expo on May 14-15 at the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.
Packet Pick-up
All participants in the Semper Fred 5K will be required to attend Packet Pick-up, located within the Healthy Lifestyle Expo, to retrieve their bib, B-tag, t-shirt and race materials.
