Semper Fred 5K
Join Miles and Molly, the MCM Mascots, as well as Marines and the Fredericksburg community for the Semper Fred 5K, presented by The Free Lance Star. The 3.1 mile run/walk is open to families and fitness enthusiasts of all ages, however, strollers are prohibited.
Registration
Registration for the 2010 Semper Fred 5K is now open. The registration fee includes race materials, official event shirt, hospitality and more.
Course
Beginning just minutes after the Marine Corps Historic Half on Sunday, May 16, 2010, participants will enjoy the 3.1 mile course and are invited to take in the amusement and excitement of race day activities, including the Healthy Lifestyle Expo.

Timing System
ChronoTrack Timing Systems, Inc. will record the results of runners along the Semper Fred 5K course. The new system, which replaces ChampionChip, will utilize a light-weight disposable timing tag. The “D-tag” will record a runner’s official time, beginning when a participant crosses the start line and concluding as he or she passes the finish, as well as split times along the course. Packet Pick-up
All participants in the Semper Fred 5K will be required to attend Packet Pick-up, located within the Healthy Lifestyle Expo, to retrieve their bib, t-shirt and race materials.
