Turkey Trot
Unleash a preemptive strike on those Thanksgiving calories and run the Turkey Trot 10K on Saturday, November 20, 2010 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Even kids can burn off some pumpkin pie by racing in the Turkey Trot One-Miler beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Turkey Trot 10K is open to runners ages 10 and older. The Turkey Trot One-Miler is available to participants ages 9 and under.
Register
Turkey Trot 10K is open to runners ages 10 and older. Online registration is now open. The $35 registration fee includes all race materials, official event technical shirt, bib, hospitality and more. Active duty and reservist military members are eligible for a $5 discount on MCM Event Series entry fees.
The Turkey Trot One-Miler is open to runners ages 9 and under and is now open. The $5 registration fee includes race materials and official event t-shirt.

The Turkey Trot 10K is an Over the River and Through the Woods certified course beginning with 3.5 miles of asphalt roadways and before turning into MCB Quantico’s well manicured trails for a mile. The run concludes at historic Butler Stadium.
The Turkey Trot 10K utilizes Chronotrack Timing Systems, Inc. to record the results of runners. Each runner is provided a Disposable Timing Tag (B-tag) as part of their race materials. The B-Tag is a disposable UHF RFID tag that stays mounted on the runner’s bib.

Packet Pick-up
Runners will be required to pick up their bib, tag and other race materials prior to the start of the event. Be sure to print the confirmation page and bring it with you to Packet Pick-up, to be held at the Marine Corps Marathon building on Thursday, November 18 and Friday, November 19 between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Download directions to Packet Pick-up at MCM Headquarters.
Runners are encouraged to attend Packet Pick-up prior to race day. However, packets will be available on race day from 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. If picking up packets for another runner, please have the Packet Release Form filled out, their e-confirmation card and your photo ID.

Awards and Results
Awards are based on chip time and will be presented to the top male and female finishers and the top male and female masters finishers. Age group awards will be distributed to the male and female winners of each age group. Age groups are divided as follows: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60 and older. The Turkey Trot 10K award ceremony will begin at approximately 10 a.m. on race day.
Complete results will be posted online shortly after the event.
Volunteer for the Turkey Trot 10K
Volunteers are needed at the Start and Finish lines, Water Points, Aid Stations and more. Medical volunteers will be required to provide their credentials.
Online volunteer registration begins on October 6, 2010.
