Run To Register 10K
Secure a slot in the 35th Marine Corps Marathon by finishing the MCM Run to Register 10K on March 27. All finishers ages 14 and older will receive a guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the MCM, days before online registration is available to the general public. The MCM R2R begins at 8:00 a.m. and is open to participants ages 10 and up. A 16 minute per mile time limit will be enforced.
Attention R2R Runners: It makes sense that with your sights set on a big 26.2 mile run in October you may have overlooked a one-mile mad dash held on the same day as the R2R. The 28th Irish Sprint will be held just after the R2R in historic Butler Stadium on March 27. The challenge--run your fastest mile on a combination course of the track and surrounding streets. Registration is just $12 and includes a special singlet (perfect for marathon training runs during hot August months). There's even special award category for the runners who enter both the R2R and the Irish Sprint. So register for this run, too. It'll be one less mile to log during MCM training.

The MCM R2R utilizes Chronotrack Timing Systems, Inc. to record the results of runners. Each runner is provided a Disposable Timing Tag (B-tag) as part of their race materials. The B-Tag is a disposable UHF RFID tag that stays mounted on the runner’s bib.

Packet Pick-up
Runners will be required to pick up their bib, tag and other race materials prior to the start of the event. Be sure to print the confirmation page and bring it with you to Packet Pick-up, to be held at the Marine Corps Marathon building on Thursday, March 25 and Friday, March 26 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Download directions to Packet Pick-up at MCM Headquarters.
Runners are encouraged to attend Packet Pick-up prior to race day. However, packets will be available on race day from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Awards and Results
Awards are based on chip time and will be presented to the top male and female finishers, the top male and female masters finishers. Age group awards will be distributed to the male and female winners of each age group. Age groups are divided as follows: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60 and older. The MCM R2R Award Ceremony will begin at approximately 9:20 a.m. on race day.

Volunteer for the MCM R2R
Volunteers are needed at the Start and Finish lines, Water Points, Aid Stations, Packet Pick-up and more. Medical volunteers will be required to provide their credentials.
