Course

R2R 1 The R2R course begins and ends at Butler Stadium. Runners will enjoy a 10K course which features both the roads and trails of Marine Corps Base Quantico. Upon completion, eligible runners will be provided with an opportunity to register for the 34th Marine Corps Marathon, four days before the opening of online registration.

Download the course map, which includes both main roadways and off-road trails. Or view the turn by turn course description. Two water points will be available on the 10K course. The first is located on Barnett Avenue, just past mile marker 2. The second is located on McCard Road at mile 4.3, just after leaving the trail. Medical aid stations are available at the start/finish areas as well as on Osburn Street at mile 4.2.

R2R utilizes Chronotrack Timing Systems, Inc. to record the results of runners. Each runner is provided a Disposable Timing Tag (D-tag) as part of their race materials. Learn more about the D-tag.
