Participants needed a towel and a change of clothes for Run Amuck on June 20, 2009. The approximately four mile course will featured a variety of obstacles including hills, a tire dash, and plenty of opportunity for runners to get dirty!

Kids Run Amuck
Younger runners got in on the race day excitement too by participating in the Kids Run Amuck. Designed specifically for children ages 5-13, the Kids Run Amuck offer an inflatable obstacle course and other exciting challenges along a quarter-mile course including mud. After crossing the finish line, participants will receive a fruit cup from Chick-Fil-A. Parents must remain with their children prior to and immediately following the race.
A $5 registration fee includes all race materials, bib and race shirt. Online registration for Kids Run Amuck is now open.
2009 Course
Run Amuck course begins and ends in Butler Stadium. The strenuous four mile race begins with a wave start and takes runners off-road onto the Stadium and Fire Break trails. Participants must navigate several obstacles including two 3 feet deep mud pits, hay bales, a tire challenge, a faux barbwire crawl, cargo nets and water hoses. Download the Run Amuck course.
Run Amuck utilizes Chronotrack Timing Systems, Inc. to record the results of runners. Each runner is provided a Disposable Timing Tag (D-tag) as part of their race materials. Learn more about the D-tag.
Safety Note: The Run Amuck course is a physically demanding event. Runners will be required to follow safety guidelines presented along the course. Runners are also encouraged to take necessary precautions with sunscreen and bug spray.
