Requirements for Media Credentials
The media credential application for members of the media seeking access to the Marine Corps Historic Half race course, participants, and any adjoining events is available. Please fill out the request form and email it to Tami Faram, MCM Public Relations Coordinator at tami.faram@usmc.mil. A media credential is required to attend any Historic Half event including the Healthy Lifestyle Expo and Semper Fred 5K. Credential confirmation and pick up information will be sent via email as requests are approved. Media passes must be picked up prior to race day. A photo ID and business card will be required to receive passes.Media support and opportunities on race day include:
-Access to the pre-race press conference at the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center
-Media Tent located near the Historic Half start and finish lines
-Media Center located in the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center
-Media Truck on the Historic Half course
The Marine Corps Historic Half will be held on May 16, 2010 in Fredericksburg, VA and is presented by the organizers of the Marine Corps Marathon.
